Dr Alessio Agostinis
I am of Italian origin with a background in Hospitality, served in the Italian Parachute Regiment, then moved to the UK to study psychology, earning a BSc and completing a Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology. This has made me a flexible, receptive psychological expert offering bespoke services. I have personal interests in mindfulness, meditation, boating, fishing, foraging, and deepening relationships to better understand and improve life. I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and founder of CTT International, offering tailored psychological services in the Channel Islands, UK, and beyond. I have served as a voluntary committee member for the Jersey Dyslexia Association and the Jersey Personal Injury Medicolegal Society, and chaired a cultural non-profit, but have resigned to focus on my psychological and spiritual journey and helping others. All my training and CPD took place in the UK, starting with my psychology degree in 2002 and my doctorate in 2008 from the University of Leeds. I completed EMDR practitioner training, the Flash Protocol, and advanced Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) training with Prof. Kelly Wilson and Prof. Lance McCracken. I am an Associate Fellow and Chartered with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I work for the States of Jersey as the only Chartered Psychologist in Chronic Pain Management, involved in clinical, research, and service development within a multidisciplinary team.
