Mark Widdowson

I am Dr Mark Widdowson, a psychotherapist, supervisor, and Senior Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford. I am a BACP supervisor, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and have extensive experience in psychotherapy practice, research, and training, with a particular interest in Transactional Analysis and its evidence base. My research contributions have been recognised internationally, including awards from the International Transactional Analysis Association and the European Association for Transactional Analysis. I combine clinical practice, academic expertise, and a commitment to developing effective therapeutic approaches to support individuals and the wider psychotherapy profession.
