Ruth Cohen
I provide clinical supervision, consultations, and confidential trauma and mental health support via video to healthcare professionals across the UK and internationally. Clients are referred by psychiatrists, GPs, insurers, organisations, employers, healthcare providers, solicitors, and self-referral. I accept clients from diverse backgrounds. Since 1995, I have been in private practice, offering psychological interventions to NHS patients from 1998-2008. I have extensive experience in assessments, supervision, and treatment for various mental and physical health issues. Previously, I was an Honorary Research Fellow at London Royal Homeopathic Hospital researching chronic fatigue syndrome and served as an External Moderator at the University of Derby for MSc programmes in CBT and Counselling Psychology. I am a founder of the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology. I work creatively, using a biopsychosocial, holistic, collaborative, and empathic approach, providing CBT, EMDR, coaching, assessments, consultations, and supervision.
